I actually have a crochet WIP this week - how exciting is that. My sister-in-law and I had a coffee date last week and she wanted to start on a felted bag like I made a while back and as she can crochet, I wanted her to help me understand the patterns and get me going on a vest pattern that I had found and wanted to make for Jas.
So I started it off in a chunky wool, just to get the feel of the pattern....
Then started it in the DK I have in my stash, but it is still too thick looking.
As soon as the proper wool arrives I will start the pattern again. Will keep you posted!
On my needles:
Hubbys' Pullover is on the move again - at last! Managing to knit up the sleeves, I would like this project to finish off now as he has really been waiting almost a year for the thing :-(
I have also started my scarf. Jas asked me for a shawl but I thought she would like this scarf a lot more, and because I wanted to knit it ;-)
And lastly: I joined in a knit-along over at luvinthemommyhood or on Ravelry. It is a Tops, Tanks and Tees knit-along. This is what I am going to be knitting. The KAL starts today and I am hoping my wool for the project will arrive today, latest tomorrow so I can keep up!
On my Ereader this week: Finishing off Mockingjay, haven't been reading as much as I would have liked to this last week....oh well.
Thank you to all of you who took part in the Give-away from last week. The winner was announced in the post. Hope you enjoy the pattern :-D
I will be sharing this post over at:
